St. Timothy’s Marathon October 10th

School Marathon – October 10th

Hello and welcome to another new school year!  That can only mean one thing, starting off the year with the second biggest fundraiser, the St Timothy School Marathon, which is on Saturday, October 10th.

The great thing about the marathon is that every penny goes right to the school!

The younger students walk around the school to raise that money, and the older students will bike 9 miles.

The students are asked to collect pledges to support their school.  For every pledge that you collect, we ask that you also collect a prayer request, which will be added to a board and prayed over by the entire school weekly!  No pledge is too small, and everything counts!

The kids will do weekly craft projects and games directed toward the marathon theme, and there will be prizes for the families that earn the most money.

There is also a Priest vs Principal contest, Service Day rewards along the way for reaching goals, AND an all school lock in marathon party when we make our goal!

Our goal this year is $22,800.  If we all work together I know we can do it!

This, like all of the St Tim’s fundraisers, is a FAMILY oriented fundraiser.

Each FAMILY’s goal is to collect $300 in pledges by the marathon on October 10th.  You can definitely go above and beyond that goal!  We will have opportunities to collect pledges after Masses, at the Fall Festival, and encourage families to go out into the community as well.

Our theme this year is “This Ain’t Our First Rodeo, Celebrating 75 years of St Tim’s School”.  We’ll be having all sorts of rodeo fun!

Priest vs Principal Contest! Who will do the rodeo challenge?

Father Meyer or Mr. Grogan??  Vote with your dollars!  The challenger to bring in the least amount of money will dress up as a cowboy and have to compete in a rodeo challenge at our school Marathon!

Donate to a St. Timothy’s school family, or donate online here.

You can donate to a school family’s goal, or to Father Meyer or Mr. Grogan.

Thank you for your support!
