Religion: The 6th grade focus is the Old Testament. In 7th grade, the focus is the figure of Christ through the Gospels, Sacraments, and prayer. The 8th grade is studying the history of the church. The curriculum used for Religion is Sophia Press: Spirit of Life.
Our 8th grade class also studies apologetics, where they learn to defend their faith through faith, science, and reason.
Enrichment classes: These are the special classes that make our students well rounded individuals. Examples of some of the enrichment classes are study skills, family consumer science: table etiquette, laundry, basic sewing, as well as cooking, and art.
Specialist Classes: These classes include Choral Music or Band and Physical Education. All middle school students have the opportunity to join the school church choir.
