Important Updates and Messages

Dear Families:

We are so incredibly blessed at this time to partner with you to educate the whole child. Although this is an unprecedented time, we know that as educators that we need to continue to deliver coursework that develops our students’ body, minds and souls. Thank you again for all your    assistance in this journey.

I am writing to inform you of our plan through the end of the academic year. Under the advice of the Archbishop we have decided to complete the academic piece of distance learning on Thursday, May 28th. This gives students time to complete any additional assignments and also allows families and staff to get all materials returned to them.

We have scheduled Saturday, May 9th as the next drop off and pick up from 3-5pm. We encourage  Middle School research papers to be dropped off during this time.  We will also be collecting yearbook order forms on that day as well.

School office hours:  The school office will be open on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00am – 12:00 p.m. This is an additional opportunity to drop off assignments, yearbook forms, etc.

Meals: If you are receiving meals from through ML schools they will continue lunch pick up until June 1st.

Family check out: To ensure each family has returned all school related items, we have decided to create a sign up for each family to check out with teachers. This sign up will be through Sycamore under Mrs. Bullivant, just like conference sign ups. Mrs. Bullivant will send out a family sign up the week of May 11th. We are asking for check out to be Friday, May 29 and Monday, June 1. Choose a day/time that works for your family and we will be excited to see you then. The classroom teacher will send a checklist of what needs to be returned, we appreciate you bringing all these items with you on checkout day.

Music/PE/Technology: Students will be graded in these areas, so please remind them to    complete one activity a week and let the teacher know. It can be a simple smiley face, ok or thanks as a response.

Report Cards: Report Cards posted Friday June 5th on Sycamore. If you would like a hard copy, please let the office know.

We look forward to reciting the rosary together on Friday, May 1 at 11:00a.m. The zoom link is included in this email.

God Bless you all,

Mrs. Shelby

Good afternoon families.

This afternoon Governor Walz announced that he is extending distance learning for all schools in Minnesota through the end of the academic year. With the extension of his Executive Order, St. Timothy’s School will be continuing distance learning through the rest of the academic school year.
We realize some students have materials at school that they may need for the duration of this time. The staff is creating a plan to allow pick up of materials while still social distancing. We will communicate this plan as soon as we have it in place.
As always we thank you for all you are doing and will continue to do.
We miss the students very much and continue to pray for them and all of you.
God Bless,

Mrs. Julie Shelby
