Our Religion Program at St. Timothy School uses the Christ Our Life Curriculum as a starting point. Our classes go deeper into the subject matter than the books allow.
- 6th Grade Religion studies the Old Testament. We spend a lot of time actually reading through the Old Testament.
- 7th Grade Religion studies the Person of Jesus Christ.
- 8th Grade Religion studies Church History. We examine primary sources such as the writing of the Church Fathers.
- Each class spends time reflecting on the Gospels heard during weekday Mass. We also learn Gregorian chant, how to pray the Divine Office, pray a decade of the Rosary a week, and spend weekly time with our Lord in Adoration.
Theology of the Body is also incorporated into the 7th and 8th grade programs (at the end of the academic year).
